How do you ensure a smooth transition?

The Digital Passport is no longer safe enough to use. That is why the insurance branch is switching to eRecognition. The Digital Password has been the standard for logging in on services of the insurance companies for more than 20 years. However, the Digital Passport will now be making way for eRecognition. A very positive development because eRecognition is much safer and more practical to use. For example: The Digital Passport is connected to a device. eRecognition on the other hand is personal.
eRecognition is the standard for B2B authentication in the Netherlands. Entrepreneurs are already using it to safely log in to governmental services. At the end of 2020 insurers and intermediaries must have phased out the Digital Passport fully. Until this time they need to support both resources.
Migration to eRecognition: Connectis makes it easy
With Connectis a gradual switch to the use of eRecognition is very easy. We connect both eRecognition and the Digital Passport to our Connectis Identity Broker and easily link them to each other. As a result, the transition can take place in three phases:
